A pleasure working with youDonna
The bathroom is beautiful! I totally love it.! Did not realize how much difference it would make.. I was going for functionality.. you brought in that and more…glamour!
Construction is not the most fun thing to go through. But in the end seeing it done and then not even realizing how much over the top it turned out to be, made every bit of inconvenience (and dust) (HA) worth it.
You and your team were always considerate and patient with me in making decisions and giving advice. And one thing I personally appreciated was how they always cleaned up every night.

When we finally decided to finish our unfinished basement we wanted to go “all in”. If we were going to do it we wanted to make it our dream basement and not just throw up some walls and paint. Bill and his team were ready to meet our expectations and take on the challenge of having it done by the Christmas holiday. Knowing we were going to have a group of guys in our house everyday for weeks can be a bit unnerving. But I actually came to look forward to having these guys around. While they were all very hard working and great at what they do, they were also friendly, respectful, and often just a lot of fun.
Thanks again for another stellar jobMs. Ren and Mr. Doug Hardtmayer
Dear Bill and Legacy Team,
Here are some pictures of the latest jobs you did for us.
You always rescue us when the challenges of owning a century home present themselves-1873 to be exact. The first series of pix are from the 110 year old Starr Barn..it was built by the beloved town Doctor, Dr Starr who lived here in 1900. The roof was collapsing and beams were sad apple, and it was in sorry need of a face lift, new roof and paint job. Well , here you are..beautiful job, louvered roof, with snow guards I might add. We also love the fresh look at the end of the driveway and all the guests want to go in! May I add the price was very reasonable for such a labor intensive job and the materials.
Just last week you brought in your talented team of Doug, Kirk, Zack and Josh to redesign and built my pathetic back stairs. Please note these were rotting wood and I had to manually string lights around so the guest could see and the landing was far too short to handle luggage and door access. And of course the annual task of restaining them. Well look at these fine stairs I have now! Thank you for steering us in the direction of the newest material- Atek? we love that it will never need painting, are fully lighted on the post tops and have a surface of roughness that my guests will not find difficult to use in our awful Ohio weather!
Your workers clean up every day! And get this, the debris from tear out gone within two hours of removal! It was so efficient I could barely run out and snap pictures. Your Legacy team is so well mannered -wouldn’t even take coffee or pop from me, but always said “thank you Ms Ren”.
Today it was raining and I was able to bribe the painter with some pumpkin pancakes when he was finished..actually, he was so neat with the drop cloths and taping, what’s an innkeeper to do?
You will always be our first call when we are perplexed, flummoxed or just plain hitting a wall on solutions for “this old house”. Thanks again for another stellar job. Now we can be a Legacy too.

As the owners of the Jeremiah B King Guesthouse, circa 1873 located at 272 North Main in Hudson we can tell you first hand that Bill Young and his team of professionals who make up LEGACY are the only guys who touch this house. They have saved our bacon from weather damage due to roof problems, ice backup water affecting the original plaster interior and a complete renovation to the lower level.
